We are (barely) not as fat as the Americans but that doesn't mean we don't have a problem with obesity. Pointing a finger and saying "hey, at least we aren't as bad as them" does not make a problem go away.
Otherwise you can point at a picture of Hitler and be happy with Trump as president of the USA.
But yes, being fat slobs does not help either. So I agree and disagree at the same time.
