Even if you have a team you think is middle of the table, don't trade your 2016 1st. The sim can be very mean so unless you are getting an outstanding deal then would keep it and see how the squad does the first 3-4 months.

Unless you are the Ducks and are always in the top 3 in the league. Then you should trade your first, claiming that your team should be terrible this year and getting maximum value for your 29th overall.
