X3 for the Trance. I had one 6 years ago. I know totally differnt bike vs todays standards but Giant does a great job in their linkage systems to address pedal Bobbing. Ive owned enough Norcos and Specialized that Im not impressed with the pedaling characteristics. The VPN lingages work very nicley down hill but and climb or pedaling and it eats up alot of your pedal stroke.
Specialized and Norco don't try to improve their linkages they just keep adding higher end speced rear shocks .
