Wow. Things happen in hockey. It's fast, guys react in the moment. Knees get struck, heads get hit, but injury is rarely the intent I think. Is Wideman a saint? Course not, but that wasn't a purposeful 'attack' on his part.

Bet all the refs are sympathizing with him too. What a joke.

The Flames too, huh? Wideman effect confirmed.
