The NHL apparently promised all players that if they made the finals, their families would be able to enter the bubble with them. Now the Canadian government isn't allowing it for any players that aren't Canadian (Quarantine issues IIRC).

With the border still closed, letting families in from the U.S. in would require them to quarantine for two weeks. The finals will be over by then and the players going home. It was a great idea but it was more hope than reality. The NHL doesn't control the Canadian COVID response.
