I am having zero luck with this. Think i'm going to have a brain aneurysm.

Followed steps 1-8 but when it comes to the "Included in the zip folder with SimonTHockeySimulator.exe is a readme.txt file. READ IT. It's helpful. I've included the instructions from here below, as it helped me.", the message "You can’t open the application “SimonTHockeySimulator.exe” because Microsoft Windows applications are not supported on macOS." pops up.

Also, "bash-3.2$" doesn't show when I open up my terminal.
