Essentially Lee's ex-wife reads an anti-scientology book, someone else finds out, she gets labelled a "suppressive person", and the relationship is instantly over.

Also it was Marisa Ribissi who introduced both Jason Lee and Beck to Scientology.

Actually, what it says is she introduced Lee. Not Beck:
