With the x by the Flames name the next next target to set the sight on is Home ice and then the Division.
Home ice is tied to Vegas and currently sits at 5.5.
Division is sitting at 10.
Flames, Sharks and Knights all have 10 game remaining. SJ plays Vegas twice down the stretch and we all know we have that one game left against SJ at the end of the month. Both the Flames and Sharks will play 6 of their 10 games before they meet.
The race for the Wild card is quite sad when you look at how the winning team will probably have 10 points below the normal snek requirement. It is probably a 4 horse race for that final spot. I add Chicago because they have a couple games against Colorado and one against Arizona left.
Both Edmonton and Vancouver have to win out to have a realistic chance, so it is just academic for them right now. Elimination day is probably a week away for them.
