My wife has a new office chair and we have too many now. As you can tell, this one has had a good life. Besides the cracked armrest the gas has lost some luster. If I sit on it it will slowly sink over a few minutes. If she sits on it, it will generally stay put. A smaller person or kid should have no issues or I think gas cartridges can be replaced. The seat is really comfortable on it and the arms are adjustable.
