Ah, I misread. I thought you were going to buy a 2.1 and pair it with a Rocketfish rear wireless (which is why I suggested getting the 5.1 and doing stereo). I didn't realize you were pairing it up with existing sound setup.
And good luck with the boss. I find sometimes it's a good idea to negotiate over wine and chocolates.
