Really odd situation where you want to drop in Pokemon that are strong enough to survive 8 hours and 20 minutes, but no more. After that you are dependent on the other teams to get them back, and your own "teammates" hurt you by feeding it.
With all the money they're making could Niantic not have hired an actual game designer? Someone with an understanding of gameplay and the effects rules and incentives have on player behaviour?
This structure really incentivizes having a second account in order to boot out your own Pokemon.
Goodbye forever, Vaporean. You might've been quite useful for raiding.
