I was never a fan of the Zach Fischer pick. There was never any upside.

But I did like the D'Artagnan Joly pick. He had a solid +1 year, but then had a down season this year.
I doubt the Flames sign either player.

But it's interesting to look at the Rimouski Oceanic roster. Alexis Lafreniere had 105 points in 61 games as a 16-17 year old.

Dmitry Zavgorodniy had a pretty good year for a 7th rounder. Hopefully he can play on a line with Lafreniere for all of next year.
