Don't believe all of the prepared excuses Mark Lee kept trying to ram down everyone's throat.
Friedrich wins all the time because he's a genius pilot, he has the strongest team behind him, and training is his full time job. He also has unlimited access to the 5 best tracks in the world.
Blaming it all on tech is just ignorant and a story CBC needs to tell to justify Kripps not winning - given that the majority of Canadians woukd be thinking "didn't he win gold in 2018???"
It also flies in the face of all the people (and non German sleds) that make the podium during the World Cup season and how successful Kripps was this year even with a different sled manufacturer.
And are we supposed to believe Germany is only capable of making superior sleds for male drivers???? Lee conveniently forgets which federations were leaders in women's 2-man and monobob.
Sadly it seems like CBC is moving towards the NBC route in how every athlete needs are story to justify their result, true or not. I saw it in several different events.
