Best thing is to go to a running store so they can watch you walk and let you know what type of shoes you should buy, and then get something in your price range.
Now that I say that, I wouldn't be surprised if watching you walk to determine shoe type is a bit of a junk science, but I don't know. I buy my shoes at The Running Room.
