Oh I’m sure, I’m aware of this teams history of playoff disappointments. At least you gotta see a season where the ultimate prize was reached, even though those Flames teams could’ve have achieved even more. I haven’t seen the flames get passed the second round since my first year of fandom in 2004 when I was 9. I guess I’ll take solace that I was able to see Iggy dominate, but I still get sad knowing we wasted his prime years as well. This year’s disappointment is definitely the biggest one for me since I’ve been a fan. The way they went though the whole season, just to go out with barely a wimper. I thought the team had way more character and heart than what was shown. The loss I can handle, the way they lost makes me less optimistic about this cores future.
