The existing Trans Mountain pipeline has operated since 1953, without catastrophe and has the support of 51 First Nations.
If we can’t build new pipelines, Alberta and all of Canada stand to lose billions of dollars in government revenue that pays for police, firefighters, roads, hospitals, teachers, doctors, nurses and so much more.
Hundreds of thousands of jobs depend on the oil and gas sector in Alberta and across Canada. Canadians from coast to coast to coast work in oil and gas related businesses, while others come from across the country to make their livelihoods right here. But this isn’t just about Alberta, this is about Canadian families and Canadian government services from Vancouver Island to the Maritimes.
So please show your support for fair trade Canadian oil and gas produced to the best environmental standards on earth and representing the largest single contributor to Canada's economy. Now is the time! Let's show our passion and support. Bring a sign and bring your voice – we need you!
