If you haven't listen to Amon Amarth yet, you should (grab their song The Pursuit of Vikings). If you like that song, just start grabbing more, I think they are great. And yes Dimmy is great!
Try Enslaved as well (get the album Ruun). Once I know if these are classics to you, I have a bunch more. Gojira is epic as well, worth getting (environmental death metal!!!).
