This is a dark, heavy show and not much joy or levity at all. There are a couple of characters who are in for comic relief and they fall flat unfortunately.
The amount of murders, and how elaborate they are can be a little overwhelming. But this is a well put together show with some great talent on the screen.

On my own advice my wife and I are re-watching it.
So...so good. I cant believe this show was on Network Television.
I cant even think about how many times I say to myself: "This was on TV!"
"We cant show smoking, we cant have swearing....but that guy has been disemboweled and his guts are all over the place."
Yes. Thats fine. Just no smoking!
