Sure you can. This is a very good TV.
But you can also get something great (i.e. a 65" OLED) for between 1500 and 2000 if you look. For example.
Basically, use Rtings.com. For any TV you might be looking at, it will give you a reasonably good sense of whether it sucks or is good.
