I think even if Kulak claims the #6 spot you see Bartkowski as the #7. That is unless one of the younger guys badly outplays him in camp. He has enough experience to step in at a moments notice, and it doesn't hurt any kid's development by having them in the press box. I would think Bartkowski has the inside track, but he performed pretty poorly down the stretch last season. I think if the dollars are the same the Flames could easily go with Kulak and Wotherspoon as the 6 and7, then platoon them with Stone. Good for development and doesn't really hurt the team with having too many young guys in the lineup. If there is an injury, Bartkowski is the first call up. It will be an interesting battle to watch in camp.
