Just the way that he frames his questions to the players irks me.
He creates (sometimes disturbingly pre-meditated) narratives around the questions leaving basically a yes or no blank at the end of it, trying to get the player to agree to it, rather than posing open ended questions that allow the player to give their personal slant on the topic and taking them at their word rather than reading between the lines.
It's just slimy. Certain players clearly don't like him. I get that Sportsnet tries to play off of that reputation by pumping him up as the bad guy who's here to stir the drink but his presence around this club is more detrimental than anything given that half of his takes are founded in fiction, and usually is at the expense of specific players who are important to the team moving forward.
He's no good.
