I never thought about asking for a refund because I chose a bad movie to rent. Now, I did go to my local movie store that offered 2 for 1 rentals from 9:00pm to 10:00pm (when they closed). It was pretty cheap at that time too, like $2 or $3 at the most. No big deal.
