I don't think it's a good idea. Sure, at a picnic, most adults will have a few beers or a few glasses or wine or whatever. The problem is there will also be times when there ends up being a big party, with lots of drunks, loud music, broken glass and general all around rowdiness. Not a good mix with families trying to enjoy the park.
