He'll get a slot as a 1st team NHL all star at the end of the season. That's the all star recognition that's important. Not the silly fan-selected all star game appearance.
I think some ppl have forgotten, there is another completely seperate all star selection at season's end. 1st and 2nd team all stars. Thats the real one. He's a lock for that one.
