Speaking of nice rides...I was in Kimberley and we road the rails to trails from there to Cranbrook and back. About 50km, nice to be in the trees on a road bike with no vehicles. Not the most pleasant ending with a 10km climb, but it's an old rail grade so not steep. Worth doing if you are out that way. Pro tip. Start in Cranbrook, and the climb is in the middle of the ride. Watch out for deer!
