There'll be a lot of political intrigue between the Klingons and Star Fleet as they transition to partners from Undiscovered country and onward.
It'll also make room for some NCC-1701B action which I think will make for a good series.
I think the timeline fits for that. Any Trekkies know what the time span was between Undiscovered Country and the Maiden Voyage of Enterprise B was?
