I made this move specifically for cap reasons. After acquiring Sundqvist I was over the cap and still had a backup goalie needed to fill out my roster. This gives me a little bit more cap flexibility to fill the backup goalie spot and maybe an additional upgraded player going into free agency. I was never really attached to JT Miller as I had a bunch of trade discussions with him but I am hoping this is a sell high.
Not a huge Rasmus fan but he will fill out my bottom pair nicely.
