Saw it mentioned during the launch that there's a provincial law that requires e-bikers wear helmets (because they're so similar to motorcycles...).
I have seen many people saying on Twitter that the police should just turn a blind eye to it. Can't help but think the better outcome would be a realization that the law doesn't make sense. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
