As the calendar turns to March, the NCAA season is wrapping up and moving into the Conference tournaments.

----------

ASU finished its season with a visit to Minnesota. They lost both games this weekend to the Golden Gophers, but even with the losses, they are still in 8th place in the Pairwise and their chances of earning an invite to the NCAA tournament look very good.

College Hockey News has a Pairwise probability matrix where they have simulated all of the possible outcomes for the future games and they give ASU only an 18.3% chance of dropping out of the top 10: https://www.collegehockeynews.com/ra...lityMatrix.php. While a top 10 finish guarantees them a spot in the tournament, even dropping down to 12th gives them a very good chance of being there.

Koumontzis had no points in the Sun Devils' two losses.

----------

MSU finished its regular season with a split at Ohio State. Once again, Mattson didn't play in either game. He hasn't suited up for the Spartans since February 2.

The Spartans finished last in the Big 10 and will open the Big 10 tournament next weekend at Notre Dame. It will be a best-of-three series. If they lose, their season will be over.

----------

Denver's regular season is not quite over. They still have 2 more games next weekend against Colorado College. The NCHC tournament starts the following weekend. Regardless of what happens in the NCHC, Denver is solidly in position to get an NCAA invite.

This weekend, Denver visited Nebraska-Omaha. They won Friday night and tied on Saturday. Pettersen had one assist in each game. He now has 26 points (6G/20A) in 32 games. He leads the team in assists and is second in points.
