Workplace issues happen ALL the time, and teams, companies, etc are constantly evolving to try and deal with the problems in a better way. The analogy of the strap is a very good one. If we start going back and ruining the lives of coaches, teachers, bosses, etc that in the past did stuff that isn't acceptable now, the result will be a bloody mess.

The whole 'trial by social media BS' is going to result in a massive problem real quick here.
Right. Carcillo said Crawford feels remorse. It sounds like he reached out to Patrick O'Sullivan when he book was released 4 years ago... no wait... it sounds like he didn't.

But remore is exactly the same as an apology.

He feels remorse because he knows he ass may be in a sling. He's Bertuzzi with crocodile tears because he knows what is coming to him.

It speaks volumes about the culture of hockey that Crawford has been hired what... 4 more times as a coach after the Moore/Bertuzzi incident.

But nice false equivalency with 'the strap'.

I can play the game of going to extremes as well.

Maybe we should NOT ruin the lives of people who sexually assaulted people in the past either? "It's a bloody mess".

But I digress, understanding the middle ground in consequences for using the strap 30 years ago or sexually assaulting someone 30 years ago is unique to each case and the people/organizations connected to it.

The reality is that sporting culture has always provided a place for the slippery slope of reprehensible abuse to occur.

Especially if you win!!

Don't forget Graham James name is on the Memorial Cup.

The reality is that these are conversations that need to happen and should have happened a long time ago.
