Signed up for SNN and it's been pretty painless so far to watch the Flames. Not cheap at $20, but $20 is still less than $70 for cable so I'm still ahead.
And I can cut it when playoffs start and can rely on CBC OTA.

Did you consider getting the 27$/month plan? Looks like you can avoid black outs that way? Also has playoffs.
