I didn’t particularly like Spy, although it was one of McCarthy’s better roles, but what made it different is that she didn’t do her normal female Chris Farley role, which I think she’s awful at. The idiot loser obnoxious pig role just isn’t a good one for her. Part of the reason I thought Bridesmaids was so awful.
