Interesting reading this thread. This year for Christmas, one of my gifts to my wife was a hot sauce recipe book. She's super excited about it, as she's been making her own BBQ sauce for a few years now, and has been starting to find the kind of hot sauces available lacking in "exactly" what she wants. Apparently, it's quite a hole to fall into.
