I think there is too much change to draw those conclusions.

When you're still in junior, you're the guy, you're playing top line on your team, getting ice-time, getting touches, and allowed to free wheel. Confidence is at a high.

You go to the pros, and you are suddenly the worst guy on the team, a kid, getting very little ice-time, and being told to work on whatever deficiencies you have. Confidence is at a low.

Then you go to the WJCs, and expectations are through the roof, but you're not currently in a groove, and you have to re-adjust to the junior game, and it is a very short tournament and small sample size.

I think we need to be careful about being too judgemental in that situation.
