Yeah, the one advantage I've heard about the Steam controller vs the Xbox controller is that Steam's trackpad and gyroscope makes it more accurate for FPS. I get that it's never going to be as accurate as a mouse, but I've also never been an amazing FPS player, so I think I'm okay with sacrificing a bit of accuracy for more comfort.
