Arizona, Detroit, Buffalo, Columbus, Seattle, and Ottawa will probably all be bad next year.
Really I'm not sure there is a path for the Flames to tank and be worse than those teams to be in the Bedard sweepstakes.
We finished first in our division, and made the second round of the playoffs. Our farm team looks to be poised to sweep their second straight series and were one of the top teams in the AHL, mostly with young players and not veterans.
Honestly a re-build / tank isn't feasible or possible at this time.
