"Girl" was an interesting Belgium film. Slow, but the actor who played the "Girl" probably should have won a ton of awards, but as usual if you have to read subtitles it won't get attention here. The interesting part was if this film was made in the US or Canada it would be completely different. Kind of shows how far behind we are in certain social aspects, or how advanced Belgium/Europe is, nonetheless, it had an arthouse type feel. There were shocking parts of the film, but the most shocking to me was the things that they didn't find shocking/surprised if that makes sense without giving away anything. If you like arthouse films you should check it out.
