The Battle of Hill 70 was probably one of the most successful Corps-level operations of the entire war. We all like to talk about Vimy, Ypres etc... but Canada's contribution to the 100 Days actually had a significant impact on ending the war and the Canadians, as usual, paid dearly for those victories.
It's a hell of an army. I echo you. It's disgusting to see the political and leadership class dismantle it in the most humiliating way possible.
