So the round robin is deciding who finishes 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th.
At the conclusion of the qualifying round, the teams that make it through will be seeded 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th based on regular season point percentage.
1 will play 8
2 will play 7
3 will play 6
4 will play 5.
...I think. So if the Flames get through alongside Arizona and Chicago and say Vancouver, seeding will look like:
8 = Chicago
7 = Arizona
6 = Calgary
5 = Vancouver
