so on tuesday evening i had to drop my son's vehicle off at the shop - so i decided to make a little 30k loop out of the task by riding east along the canal to 84th street and then back to my house in New Brighton. I fought the wind along the canal and then on the regional pathway back to NB.
Yesterday afternoon I went to pick up the vehicle and I thought I would do the route in reverse and as fate would have it, I was fighting the wind down the canal again. I wound up cutting the ride short and bailed at 52nd as I did not ahve the legs to fight the wind again.
I have no stats, but it sure feels like it has been a breezy start to the 2022 cycling season with many days featuring a good breeze and I feel that I have yet to really have it at my back for a long stretch
