Personally I'd suggest going with Interactive Brokers. It has lower fees, gives you access to international markets (as opposed to just Canada/USA), and allows you to do pretty much any type of trading (Options, Futures, etc) if you so desire. I personally also have a Questrade account, and that's not bad either, but I much prefer IB.
