This platform is only 'alright' if you're only a one team, one sport type of fellow (that isn't the Toronto Maple Leafs).
If you follow more than one sport, or even like to read league-wide news and articles, then it's a good investment. Not unlike subscribing to a very good newspaper in days past. Vinny mentions that you do have to chip in at about $72 per year, but with the constant promos, free trials and discounts that they offer, usually you don't end up paying full price for the first year anyway.
As for the Flames coverage - let's just say Darren Haynes started to teach himself to be a video guy, and it's working out pretty well in his first endeavour for Sam Bennett.
The NHL coverage is good too. I read some 'insider' articles that were great, one was on certain 'tells' in the NHL:
-When a coach senses he's getting fired
-When a player knows someone else is being sat
-When a GM sense that negotiations are getting warmer
Etc.
