BU lost big today, 7-2 to Denver in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

With the loss, Hickey's season is over. He could potentially sign with the Flames, but he also still has two more years of college eligibility. It wouldn't be surprising if he goes back for one more year, especially with all the young defencemen in the Flames' system.

After 4 Flames' picks played in the National Championship last year, this year, none of them survived the first round of the tournament.
