I really think Wilson is one of the up and coming skilled-pests in the league, and his contract will be just fine going forward. He played a huge role in bringing the cup to DC. If you're going to pay someone big like this who might not quite deserve it, at the very least you can say they played a big role in bringing you to the holy grail.

Marchand was a long way ahead of Wilson offensively at this stage of his career even he wasn't at his peak.
