The appeal for Amazon Prime is two day shipping with parcels sent to my home. Take that away and it's not even worth it
I've been getting my packages on my door step, but Amazon uses multiple shippers. Sounds like Canada Post decided not to drop it on your steps. Not sure what the terms of their contract are but I've had experiences with some of the contract agents taking the lazy approach - e.g. finding a delivery attempt notification in my community mailbox when I was home all day and know they didn't try to deliver it.
