Haven't seen a player's stock drop this fast in a long time.
He won the Baz Bastien for best AHL goalie in 2018.
He didn't look great in preseason but it made sense to keep him over a career backup who a lot of people thought would be coming down to earth after playing amazing in the previous season.
I watch almost every Leafs game and I can say I don't think I've ever seen a player so consistently out of position.
Also how he was basically removed from the team before the playoffs was weird.
Hope he turns it around though. His best game of the season was against the Hawks in Chicago which is where he is from. Vegas' AHL team is in Chicago so maybe some homecooking will help him out. I also think this is a favour to Sparks by Dubas.
