If the goal was to trade a pick for more immediate help, the Lazar trade didn't work.

The goal was to trade for a young player with potential who had been mismanaged and had struggled with injury concerns. It was a gamble just like all draft picks are. I don’t think it was a considerably worse gamble than just picking but apparently a lot of people around here like to hate on that trade.
