Sounds like the family had some serious issues, but as a father, can't imagine even having to think those sentences, let alone say them.

Pretty direct/candid comments from his dad -- I wonder if there is something specific (an email/text, or a note left behind) that would lead to that conclusion. Either way, a really sad situation that hopefully doesn't lead to further loss or violence.
