My PVR recorded the replay of the Christmas episode from 1998 (Alec Baldwin hosting, the Schweaty Balls episode). Some parts of it were wild. It was around the time of Clinton's impeachment, so very similar themes and jokes around that. A joke about the impending doom due to climate change.
But the best one was during the monologue, Jimmy Fallon came on as a ghost of SNL hosts future and made a joke about how he becomes a huge star and hosts the Christmas episode I. 2011...which he did.
