I second the DLink DAP 1320 ... have one in my house as well.
You might just have to unplug it and plug it back in every couple days but that takes about a minute and it resets the adapter and starts working wonderfully again. Also dont throw out the manual that comes with it...it contains the default information you need. maybe take a pic and store it on your phone or laptop. or email it to yourself.
